SCMF has a standing order to distribute naloxone to our community members. Narcan is a life-saving, opioid overdose reversal drug. You can learn to administer Narcan and save a life today. SCMF understands that navigating the process of finding treatment for opioid misuse or other substance use disorders (SUDs) can be challenging and confusing. There are a variety of treatment options available to you or your loved ones in Placer and Nevada County. Sometimes, the best way to get started is a free screening where you can receive guidance about your drug or alcohol use and get directed to the proper resources. Both Placer County residents and Nevada County residents can access these screenings, as well as a variety of other resources.
